FAQ

What is this?

Build a Chinese Brain is a continuing Conversation Templates series. This purchase is for Conversation Templates #1: Start Your First Chinese Conversation — a text-and-audio course that helps you introduce yourself and ask common questions for a first conversation, through listening and shadowing.

More templates will be added over time. Each one is sold separately, so you can get the ones you need.

Who is this for?

It's for Chinese learners who can understand some Chinese but struggle to put their thoughts into words, especially when speaking in real conversations.

Why do I need this?

Because knowing individual words and grammar doesn't always mean you can use them quickly in conversation.

This course helps you build a mental library of reusable patterns, so instead of constructing every sentence from scratch, you can recognize a pattern and use it when you need it.

If I'm a beginner, will this help me?

If you already know some basic Chinese, yes! Conversation Templates #1 can help you start building useful speaking patterns and move beyond word-by-word translation.

However, if you're a complete beginner who doesn't know Chinese pronunciation or basic essential phrases yet, I wouldn't recommend starting here. I recommend learning the fundamentals — pronunciation, basic sentence structure, and essential phrases — first, then using this template to build your conversational skills.

Can I get a refund?

No. Due to the digital nature of this product, refunds are not provided.

However, I genuinely want to make this course better. If you have any feedback or feel something could be improved, simply leave a reply inside the course. If your feedback would be valuable for other learners too, I'll consider updating the course accordingly.
